Arriadna Garrido – Author and Advocate for Culture, Sustainability, and Poetry
Arriadna Garrido is a published author based in Manchester, UK. She earned her degree in English and Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and is currently completing an MA in Publishing at MMU.
As an author passionate about storytelling and cultural exchange, Arriadna has been actively involved in various creative and community-focused initiatives. She co-founded El Gat Negre (The Black Cat), a cultural association at the University of Valencia, which organized events to promote local heritage while fostering connections between international students and Valencian culture.
Arriadna’s dedication to cultural enrichment extends to hosting and producing gatherings that champion ecology, sustainability, veganism, and poetry. Her leadership skills shone in 2019 when she founded and became Chair of The Poetry Society at MMU, creating a vibrant platform for aspiring poets and enthusiasts.
Whether through her writing or community projects, Arriadna Garrido continues to inspire with her unwavering commitment to culture, creativity, and meaningful change.
